The PSA said the monthly LFS aims to provide high-frequency statistical information on the Philippine labor market information to better monitor and understand the current job situation and economy in the Philippines as well as the impact of the current coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) health crisis.
Results of the monthly LFS will serve as a basis for planning, formulation of policies, and implementing programs to create gainful employment and bolster livelihood opportunities for the Filipinos particularly those who were adversely affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
In line with this, the PSA appeals to the sample households to cooperate and provide truthful, complete, and accurate information to the SRs.
The respondents are assured that all information collected from the sample households shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation, or regulation as provided under Article 55 of Republic Act 10625. Philippine Information Agency
