Islamic vlogger Ustadz Javier dies of cardiac arrest after his daily bike routine

An Ustadz or Islamic preacher who propagate Islamic religion through the platform of his blog died on Sunday morning after he succumbed to cardiac arrest after conducting his daily bike routine in Quezon City.

Ustadz Ahmad Javier, 42, married, and a popular blogger on YouTube whose blog can be viewed at Facebook that propagated the Islamic teachings have acquired so many followers both Muslims and non-Muslims due to his comprehensive explanations about Islam.


Ustadz Javier whose real name is Ceazar Quilalan Javier, Jr. embraced Islam when he was 14 years old yet and made further learning on Islamic studies until he became well versed with the Qur’an and became an Ustadz. 

He left behind his wife Juhainah Donasales Javier from Caloocan City but they hail from Siniloan, Laguna Province.

Then he used the social media in his Da’wah (Islamic propagation) better known as “Digital Da’wah” using the YouTube. Thus he gained thousands of followers of Islam especially non-Muslims who were convinced of his explanations about the teachings of Islam.

Notable among the Balik Islam or revert who embraced Islam and were convinced by Ustadz Javier are the Rizalitas of Antipolo City who are now Muslims. Before they embraced Islam they believed in Jose P. Rizal as their God.

He was brought to Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital along IBP Road in Batasan Hills, Quezon City for the emergency medication. However, just the same he succumbed to the cardiac arrest where his attending physician Dr. Orloz Ignacio pronounced him dead as of 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.

National Commission on Muslim Filipin(NCMF) Commissioner Yusoph Mando and a friend of Ustadz Javier has mourned the untimely demise of the Islamic preacher  saying that he was a great loss to the Muslim Ummah (community).

Commissioner Mando said the contribution to the Muslim community of Ustadz Javier will never be forgotten specially his Da’wah works both here and abroad. 

“You dedicated your life in promoting and presenting the real message and teachings of Islam,” the NCMF commissioner said.

Meanwhile, several hundreds of Muslim Filipinos gathered in the Golden Mosque in Quiapo, Manila to attend the Ṣalāt al-Janāzah of Ustadz Ahmad Javier. It is the Islamic funeral prayer and a part of the Islamic funeral ritual done for the deceased by Muslims in congregation to seek forgiveness for him from Allah. 

Finally he was laid to rest on Sunday afternoon at his final resting place in Norzagaray, Bulacan where he was buried at the Islamic cemetery put up by actor Robin Abdul Aziz Padilla at Himlayan ng Kapayapaan.
