World Vision Ph opens handwashing facility in Cadayonan ES

World Vision inaugurates the newly constructed handwashing facility at Cadayonan Elementary School, Brgy. Cadayonan 1 in Marawi City as part of its efforts in the fight against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. (World Vision Philippines)

MARAWI CITY, May 25–As part of its efforts in the fight against coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the World Vision inaugurated the newly constructed handwashing facility at Cadayonan Elementary School in Brgy. Cadayonan 1, this City.  

The construction and repair of the same facility are also ongoing at H. Hassan Elementary School, Tuca-Boganga Elementary School, Abdulazis Elementary School, and Sikap Elementary School.   

This is just one of World Vision’s projects in response to COVID-19. The organization also looks forward to its long-term use among children in the prevention of any type of disease.  

The design is in reference under Department of Education Order No. 66, s. 2009, DepEd Order No. 56, s. 2009 or the Immediate Construction of Water and Hand Washing Facilities in All Schools for the Prevention of Influenza A. Philippine Information Agency
