BUBONG, Lanao del Sur: There is no one infected yet in the municipality of Bubong in Lanao del Sur, according to the town’s chief executive.
Mayor Usoph Munder on Wednesday told Ranao Star Philippines that Bubong is still Covid-free although there are Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI) who arrived from Manila and Davao staying in the town’s isolation facility.
The mayor said since the Balik Probinsya Program, there have been 50 individuals who arrived in Bubong.
“The 30 individuals who arrived earlier have completed their 14-day quarantine in the isolation facility and went home already after having found negative of the coronavirus,” Munder said.
Among the 50, one is asympomatic due to asthma symptom but found out to be negative of Covid.
All those who are staying in the isolation facility are provided with foods three times a day plus snacks by the LGU headed by Mayor Munder. It will go on until their 14-day quarantine is completed. The mayor even provided feeding milk and diapers to children of those staying in the isolation facility.
The LSIs have admired the Bubong local government for its concern to the constituents especially those who have arrived from other places and undergo the quarantine to the extent that they wish to always stay in the isolation facility.
It is learned that Mayor Munder is asking them what they want to eat.
