BUBONG, Lanao del Sur: The third batch of returning Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) have arrived here accompanied by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Bubong.

Mayor Usoph B. Munder said he could not allow his people to suffer and provided them with foods and shelters.

Munder said there are now additional 14 rooms in the Bubong Temporary Quarantine Facility ready to serve the LSIs and others suspected with Covid cases.

Meanwhile, on June 12, the mayor led the celebrations of the 122nd Philippine Independence Day in a simple but fervent ceremony.

In a short message after the flag-raising, Munder said he is thankful that despite the dreaded Covid-19 Pandemic, the local government unit (LGU) has been fully functioning in serving the constituents. He also thanked the officials and staff of the LGU for their sincerity in helping the people against the coronavirus.
