Taraka youth provide Ramadan ‘iftar’ to frontliners

TARAKA, Lanao del Sur: The Taraka Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and the Local Youth Development Office distributed on Monday, May 11, 2020, food packs for breaking the fast during the day called ‘iftar’ to the frontliners.

Mayor Nashiba Gandamra Sumagayan said the two offices collaborated and took initiative to thank the modern heroes of Taraka for their untold sacrifices to maintain a COVID 19 free community by providing them with free ‘iftar.’

Indeed, youth leaders of Taraka are striving hard to do something in their own little ways, said Sumagayan. “Kuddos to these young leaders of Taraka,” she added.
