ILIGAN CITY: Lanao del Norte provincial governor Imelda “Angging” Qibranza-Dimaporo has brought sacks of basic goods to barangay halls in Lanao del Norte’s town of Pantar amidst Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

Around 6,000 of wrapped goods which packed 5 kilograms of rice and 6 sardines each have been distributed by the town’s barangay government units to “enlisted” households in their jurisdictions, media reported.
Barangay officials had based the distribution to profiled households subject to avoid duplication of relief services from government agencies during ECQ, a mandate for people to prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), it said.
While Covid-19 cases in this province nearly flattened its curve, the provincial administration have no official statement on the extension of ECQ in the area.
On April 10, the provincial health center posted on facebook the number of Covid-19 cases which persons currently admitted has 0; confirmed cases is 1; 17 negative result after test; 21 persons under monitoring; 4 completed the quarantine. (RSP)
