The provincial government of Lanao del Norte has required all residents and non-residents in the province to wear face mask at all times especially when going out of their residences or in public places even as she appealed to them to simply observe the ways on how to guard one’s self and the family against COVID-19.

Seeing the need to wear face masks in accordance with the effort of the National Government to flatten the curve, Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza Dimaporo issued Executive Order No. 07, Series of 2020, requiring all residents to wear mask.

Dimaporo noted that the number of Persons under Investigation as well as Persons under Monitoring in Lanao del Norte is gradually decreasing.

To sustain this progress, Dimaporo is calling all residents and non-residents of the province to religiously observe the wearing of face mask, an essential practice that everyone should comply.

“The Philippine National Police, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and other law enforcement agencies including those who are manning the Quarantine Checkpoints are tasked to strictly implement this Executive Order and will apprehend those who will violate or deny entry for those who are coming into the province or to their respective municipalities if such order is not followed,” she added.

The Provincial Chief Executive is doing the best she can and continuously find ways to protect the safety and health of the people of Lanao del Norte.

Wearing of face mask, and following other recommendations of the Department of Health to protect ourselves from acquiring this deadly virus is called upon for the interest of the citizens. (RSP)
