MANILA: The Public Assistance and Media Relations Service of the Department of Agrarian Reform opens a new chapter in its mandate to tell stories of how DAR’s programs impact the lives of the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries with the appointment of Cleon Lester Chavez as its Director.
Chavez took his oath of office on 28 August 2018, before DAR Secretary John Castriciones, and was witnessed by the personnel of the PAMRS.
Prior to joining the DAR, Director Chavez was a broadcast industry professional with 20 years of experience in producing award-winning news, current affairs, public service and documentary television programs. He is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University.
Secretary John Castriciones enjoined the PAMRS personnel to cooperate with Director Chavez as he assumes his new post. “With his leadership, I believe that he will be able to make your Division a very viable office that will help enhance the mission and vision of the Department,” Sec. Castriciones added. – www.dar.gov.ph /RPH
