Assy. Froxy M. graces Balindong NHS Commencement Exercises

BALINDONG, Lanao del Sur: Assemblyman Farouk “Froxy” A. Macarambon, Jr. representing the second district of Lanao del Sur to the ARMM’s regional legislative assembly attended the Balindong National High School 3rd Completion Ceremony as guest speaker held at Salipongan, this municipality on April 5, 2018. 
In his speech, Macarambon underscored the importance of the K to 12 program, especially on how it helped the country in terms of economy. 
He said the unemployment rate in the Philippines dropped from 6.6 per cent last year to 5.3 per cent as of the first quarter of this year. He said the number of unemployed persons went down by 441 thousand. 
“Bakit po bumaba ang unemployment rate?,” he asked. “Ito po ay direktang resulta ng K to 12 program,” he emphasized. 
Macarambon expressed his praise of the parents who sacrificed for the education of their children and thanked them for working hard for the future of their children. 
Froxy is the brother of Roland Abdul Rashid “Fiat” A. Macarambon who is also assemblyman representing the province’ first district to the regional legislative assembly. 
Media said the two brother are the most visible politicians in the province of Lanao del Sur nowadays which shows that they are darling of the populace. 
Under the leadership of Famidah B. Abbas, Balindong National High School is under Lanao del Sur I headed by schools division superintendent Dr. Normillah Sumigay R. Pangandaman with assistant schools division superintendent for secondary education Soraida B. Noor 
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion included Balindong municipal mayor Benjamin M. Bagul, other local government unit officials, EPS Rubina Mimbantas, and community leaders. – RSP
